Events follow many of the same rules as creating a page on the site.

When creating a Poll there is no "body" field, but you are given entries for "Choices". These represent the different choices available to users. If you need more options you can select the "Need more choices" box and click the "Preview" button to get 5 more boxes where you can enter Choices.

Poll's have two other special settings.

Poll Status is either Active (default) or Closed. Active polls allow users to vote in them. Closed polls no longer allow users to vote.

Poll Duration can be set to specific time periods or to run for an "unlimited" amount of time.

When you are finished editing your poll, click the "Submit" button to make the poll effective. The poll will then be the "most recent" poll and will be visible in the bottom left corner of the site. The previous "most recent" poll will be available on the list of older polls.
