Workshop $5 per person/$10 per family

Barbecue $5 per plate

Pam and Jack Farrar, well known for their found object alley art, will be providing instruction and guidance, and will be bringing some found objects to start with, such as wire, wood, and hardware. Participants should bring found objects such as pieces of old furniture (a chair back, chair seat, shelf, shelf bracket) broken or non-working toys/tools/utensils, old game pieces, old picture frames, old cookie sheets, pot handles, door knobs, magnets, magnetic letters and words, shoes, shells, marbles, balls, hub caps, bicycle tire rims, seats, handlebars, frames, bells, keys, non-working musical instruments or instrument parts, etc. Also bring small hand tools such as hammers, drills, screw drivers, needle nose pliers and nippers.

We will have acrylic paint, glue and brushes.

Make one to adorn our fence, and one to take with you to install in your own alley! Open to adults and families with children ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by participating adults.

There are a number of other tax deductible charities local to WWP, please consider donating to one of these charities.

Washington Street Community is a 501(c)3 eligible non-profit in West Wash Park (809 S Washington). Their funding from the United Way was cut in half this year, due to the economy.

Donations would be appreciated to support ongoing programs, future activities and building improvements.

Checks dated 12/31/10 or before are tax deductible for tax year 2010.
