12th Annual Lucky Mutt Strut
A 2 mile fun run/walk
Sunday July 20th, rain or shine, in Washington Park
Join us in raising money for MAXFUND, A non-profit organization that was established in 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets. The MAXFUND is a TRUE no-kill shelter, also providing low cost vaccinations, nursing home therapy programs, no adoption fees and neuter clinic for low income pets. We need you and your pet to walk or run this 2 mile race!
$25 advance, $30 day of, $25 "lazy dog" (sleep in and get a t-shirt and goodie bag)

Ms. Coloroso is an internationally recognized speaker (http://www.kidsareworthit.com) on parenting, teaching, positive school climate, nonviolent conflict resolution and grieving. Her uniquely effective parenting strategies were developed over the course of her years of training in sociology, special education, philosophy, and theology.

16th Annual Summer Art Market

The 16th annual Summer Art Market at the Art Students League of Denver is scheduled for June 14th & 15th . Summer Art Market 2008 will showcase the work of over 270 artists. The Market is held in front of the Art Students League of Denver, 200 Grant Street and is open from 10 AM to 5 PM both days. Summer Art Market has developed a unique reputation among buyers as a wonderful place to buy original fine art directly from the artists. This event gives artists of all levels of skill the opportunity to showcase their work and sell directly to the public.
