You’re Invited to Attend - Annual WWPNA Meeting Denver Design Center, 4/24, 7PM

What is happening at Alameda Station?

Navigating around the construction detours at Alameda Station is sure to raise the question “What is going on at Alameda Station?” Traffic lanes on Broadway have blocked and the heavy construction equipment is the fascination of all young children. Parts of buildings have disappeared. Internal Alameda Station streets and safety fences shift around like the staircases in a Harry Potter movie.

Dumpster Removal: How/what can neighbors do to influence Denver government actions.
“Why isn’t WWPNA fighting dumpster removal?”

Councilman Chris Nevitt will be on hand to discuss neighborhood involvement in City decisions. He will discuss and answer questions about how residents can most efectively engage with the City to influence decisions that afect our lives.

DIRECTIONS TO DENVER DESIGN CENTER: 595 S. BROADWAY.
Enter at Center and Broadway, park along the center or in the parking lot next to the Yellow Wall sculpture. Signs will direct you from there.

You’ve probably already received literature on the West Washington Park re-zoning plan from us and Councilman Nevitt’s office. Please come to the official Community Planning and Development (CPD) public meeting of the plan. Even if you have already expressed your support and gotten your questions answered, it’s important that we have a strong show of neighborhood support for this plan.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 8, 6pm to 9pm

WHERE: Denver Community Church, 1101 S. Washington
