Have you ever asked yourself what is my zoning and what does that mean? Well, we can't tell you what your zoning classification is but likely you'll find your house is R-0, R-1, R-2 or R-3. Likely you live within the WWPNA limits and are R-2 if south of Alameda and R-3 if north of Alameda. Check the city's web-site to confirm your classification at http://www.denvergov.org and link into the assessor's page.
Attached is a simple and easy to use chart letting you know what you and those around you can build including the size of house, location on lot and height.

A panel of representatives from the Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation, Denver Community Planning and Development Department, Denver Board of Realtors, and Homebuilders Association of Metropolitan Denver will discuss policies, procedures and effectiveness of various regulatory approaches. A range of topics will be covered including R-3 to R-2 and R-2 to R-1 re-zonings, legislative zoning map amendments, “pattern books”, overlay districts (including zoning and landmark preservation) and demolition permit process improvements.
