This effort is an attempt to determine the priorities of Denver residents for spending our limited dollars to provide the recreation center services that best serve our needs and desires. Decisions will be made in the following four categories: Go to denvergov.org/recreation to read the "Community Outreach Presentation" and add your comments in the suggestion box section. A schedule of meetings is on the web site. Input from all age groups is encouraged. At this point, there are no special meetings scheduled to get input from youth. ********************** Friday, August 22, 2008, 7:00 PM at Grant Avenue Community Center - 216 S. Denver Police Department's District 4 will be assigning many of its officers to work at the convention leaving fewer officers to respond to lower priority reports such as car break-ins, minor traffic accidents, petty crimes, nuisance reports, etc. We are urging District 4 citizens to come into the neighborhood COP Shops to get help with these problems and to file reports. If you do need an officer's assistance, we can contact one for you. Our phone number is 720-865-2206. Operating hours will be 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 24 through Friday, August 29, and 11:00 TO 5:00 on Saturday, August 30. ********************** Agenda for Zoning Committee Meeting August 26, 2007 51 Penn, Hearing date Sept 2, Denial of a permit to erect a front porch addition 3 feet into the 5 ft north side setback (Issue with side yard set-back) 168 S.
