Historian Phil Goodstein is giving a historical walking tour of south-central Denver on April 1, 2007 from 11 am to 1 pm. The tour meets in front of Byers Junior High School at 150 South Pearl Street. Cost is $10 per person.

A lecture on "A Century of Change in Old South Denver" will be presented by Dr. Thomas J. Noel, CU-Denver Professor of History and Director of Public History, Preservation & Colorado Studies on April 13, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. This lecture will take place at First Christian Reformed Church located at 1814 S. Emerson St. , in conjunction with their 100th anniversary celebration. Dr. Noel is renowned for his expertise on Denver and Colorado. This event is free and open to the public.
