HOME TOUR
Give your mother, aunt, grandma and YOU a Mother’s Day weekend to remember by attending the ninth annual East Washington Park Home Tour on Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. All funds benefit Steele Elementary School. On the tour this year is an original two-story home, a Denver square that won a Mayor’s Design Award in 2006, a late 1800’s original farmhouse, and two recent, gorgeous pop tops.

In addition to the home tour, there will be a barbeque, student art show and plant sale at Steele Elementary School. Tickets are $15 each or $20 the day of the show, and can be purchased on-line at Washparkhometour.org after April 1. Tickets may also be purchased from Steele Elementary at 320 Marion Parkway, Coldwell Banker at 101 University Blvd., or the First Bank of Cherry Creek at 1st Ave. and St. Paul. A Sports Performance Camp will be held June 18 - July 27, 2007.
The sessions are as follows:
11 - 13 yrs. Monday and Wednesday 11:30AM - 12:45PM, Friday 5:00 - 6:30PM
14 and up. Monday and Wednesday 10:00AM - 11:15AM, Friday 5:00 - 6:30PM

This program is designed to help young athletes improve their endurance, strength and agility through a structured six week program. Improve your young athlete's fitness level whle learning lifelong fitness skills.

Cross Country - June 19 - July 27, 2007
11 - 17 years. Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 - 9:30 AM, Friday 5:00 - 6:30PM.
Prepare your young athletes for Fall Cross Country Season. Runners will meet three times per week for six weeks in anticipation of the fall season. This program is geared to help prepare the runners for the rigors of the fall cross country season. While this program is primarily for high school students, workouts will be targeted to the age of the participant if younger runners attend.

The cost is $60 per program and includes a three month youth recreation center membership.

If your athlete is interested in attending both programs, the cost is $100 and includes a three month youth recreation center membership.
