A lecture on "A Century of Change in Old South Denver" will be presented by Dr. Thomas J. Noel, CU-Denver Professor of History and Director of Public History, Preservation & Colorado Studies on April 13, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. This lecture will take place at First Christian Reformed Church located at 1814 S. Emerson St. , in conjunction with their 100th anniversary celebration. Dr. Noel is renowned for his expertise on Denver and Colorado. This event is free and open to the public. Historical walking tour of Washington Park

Historian Phil Goodstein is giving a historical walking tour of Washington Park on Sunday May 20, 2007 from 11 am to 1 pm. The tour meets at the statue of Wynken, Blynken, and Nod at the southwest corner of South Franklin Street and Exposition Avenue. Cost is $10 per person.

Historic walking tour of south-central Denver (Byers School)

Historian Phil Goodstein is giving a historical walking tour of south-central Denver on April 1, 2007 from 11 am to 1 pm. The tour meets in front of Byers Junior High School at 150 South Pearl Street. Cost is $10 per person.

Ghosts of South Denver (Oct 25)

On Wednesday, October 25, Phil Goodstein will give a free talk entitled "The Ghosts of South Denver." The disucssion will occur from 7:00-8:30 PM at the Attic Bookstore, 200 West Hampden Avenue (two blocks west of Broadway on the south side of the street).
