Your Christmas tree gave you so much joy during the holidays. Now give it a second life and recycle it with Denver’s Treecycle program. All trees collected through the program will be chipped into mulch and given away to Denver residents in the spring. Denver residents should set out their Christmas trees for recycling from January 3rd to January 13th. - Remove all decorations and tree stand. Sorry, no artificial or flocked trees. Real Christmas trees only. - Set your tree out for collection during the first two weeks of January. Dumpster service customers should place their Christmas tree out for recycling on either Tuesday, January 3rd or Monday, January 9th for collection during that week. Do not place trees in dumpsters. Trees should be placed at least 4 feet away from dumpsters. - Watch your tree get picked up for recycling. Categories:

I-25 Closures this weekend - near WWPOvernight bridge work on I-25 this weekend will shut down the highway and detour traffic. All lanes of northbound I-25 will be closed near Santa Fe Drive from 10 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. on Saturday. As a detour, motorists on northbound I-25 will take the Santa Fe Drive/Alameda Avenue exit and continue past Alameda Avenue to Cedar Avenue where access to northbound I-25 is available. All lanes of northbound Santa Fe Drive under I-25 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 5:30 a.m. Monday. As a detour, motorists on northbound Santa Fe Drive will be directed to Mississippi Avenue where they will travel east to Broadway. Take Broadway north to northbound I-25. Motorists will then need to exit off of northbound I-25 at the Santa Fe Drive/Alameda Avenue exit. All lanes of southbound Santa Fe Drive under I-25 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday until 5:30 a.m. Monday. As a detour, motorists on southbound Santa Fe Drive will take Alameda Avenue east to Broadway and then take Broadway south to Mississippi Avenue. Once on Mississippi Avenue, travel west to Santa Fe Drive. Categories:

Come see the newly revitalized Ruby Hill Park! A new pavilion contains 28 picnic tables, new restrooms, and a new playground. New walkways and bike path connect the outdoor areas to the existing pool house.
