There are a number of other tax deductible charities local to WWP, please consider donating to one of these charities.

Washington Street Community is a 501(c)3 eligible non-profit in West Wash Park (809 S Washington). Their funding from the United Way was cut in half this year, due to the economy.

Donations would be appreciated to support ongoing programs, future activities and building improvements.

Checks dated 12/31/10 or before are tax deductible for tax year 2010.

To ensure that Washington Park continues to meet the needs of the people who use it now – and in the future – as well as to maintain the manmade and natural features that define it, Denver’s Department of Parks and Recreation has initiated a yearlong master plan process for the park.
