1. WWPNA 2008 HOME TOUR!! 8/6

The West Washington Park Home Tour 2008: West Side Stories is set for Saturday, September 6 from 10 am to 4 pm. The tour will feature seven homes in the 400-500 blocks of South Sherman to South Downing Streets.

In conjunction with the event, WWPNA will also hold a silent auction featuring over 30 items.

$12 advance tickets are available online at wwpna.org and at the Washington Street Community Center, 809 South Washington. Tickets are $15 the day of the tour and are available at each featured home. Proceeds benefit WWPNA, Washington Street Community Center and Lincoln Elementary School.

Join us in raising money for MAXFUND, A non-profit organization that was established in 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets. The MAXFUND is a TRUE no-kill shelter, also providing low cost vaccinations, nursing home therapy programs, no adoption fees and neuter clinic for low income pets. We need you and your pet to walk or run this 2 mile race!
$25 advance, $30 day of, $25 "lazy dog" (sleep in and get a t-shirt and goodie bag)

The 16th annual Summer Art Market at the Art Students League of Denver is scheduled for June 14th & 15th . Summer Art Market 2008 will showcase the work of over 270 artists. The Market is held in front of the Art Students League of Denver, 200 Grant Street and is open from 10 AM to 5 PM both days. Summer Art Market has developed a unique reputation among buyers as a wonderful place to buy original fine art directly from the artists. This event gives artists of all levels of skill the opportunity to showcase their work and sell directly to the public.
