Wash Park Running Company Launch and Community Run

Wash Park Running Company is an online running boutique. We source high-quality, eco-friendly gear and have a small one-of-one upcycled collection. This brand was created to celebrate the running culture, neighborhood traditions, and people that make the park a special community.

In addition to sourcing products with less impact, we are also dedicated to giving back. We donate 10% of profits to local charities. This year, 2026, we are donating to the Food Bank of the Rockies.

Our soft launch collection features a running hat, tote bag, and one-of-one upcycled items. Our official launch includes men's and women's technical running shirts, women's athletic tank tops, unisex casual t-shirts, tote bags, and a restock of runner hats (our women's hats sold out on the first day!).

Our official launch is on June 20 at 7 AM. We are hosting an 8-mile community run starting at Roast Coffee on Mississippi and Pearl. Everyone is welcome! We have pace groups for 7min/mi through 12+min/mi and a stroller group

Unlocking Housing Choices Meeting 5

The Unlocking Housing Choices project team is excited to announce five upcoming public meetings where community members can learn about proposed zoning code updates to allow more missing middle housing in Denver’s residential neighborhoods.

These proposed changes would implement adopted plan guidance for expanding missing middle housing citywide with an emphasis on preserving existing structures, adding more attainable units and ensuring new development is compatible with existing neighborhoods. Middle housing refers to small multi-unit developments like triplexes, quadplexes, tandem houses and cottage courts.

Public Meetings Scheduled for March and April

The team will host five public meetings to present draft proposals in late March and early April. Four meetings will be in person at locations around the city, and one meeting will be held virtually. All of the meetings will feature the same content and agenda, starting with an open house for the first 30 minutes, followed by a presentation and Q&A from the project team.
