Bike Safety Awareness Day
Saturday, July 19 | 10:45 AM – 12:30 PM | Washington Park Boathouse, Denver
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), in partnership with Bicycle Colorado, is launching a powerful new campaign to raise awareness about bicyclist safety—and you’re invited to be part of it.
🛑 Why It Matters:
Colorado has seen a rise in bicyclist fatalities in recent years. This campaign spotlights two critical safety laws:

Optional Slow Roll Ride around the park
Tribute Opportunities: Create a sign to honor someone lost in a bike crash
Speaker Remarks & Media Engagement
Volunteer Activities: Help place signs and spread awareness
