Free In Person Workshop: How To Research the History of Your Home

Thursday, May 28th, 2026 | 4 - 7 PM | Decker Branch Library (1501 S. Logan St.)

Join the Treasure Hunt: How To Research the History of Your Home

Free in-person, interactive workshop

Hosted by Carolyn Diana and Pat Wagner with the West Washington Park Neighborhood Association

Limited space: Please email history.garden.walk@gmail.com or patwagner@icloud.com to apply for a seat and receive a confirmation.

Let us introduce you to free, online resources available through the City and County of Denver and the Denver Public Library. We’ll take you through the initial steps to research your home and the people who lived there–from a twinkle in the builder’s eye to the current day.

You can also learn about our free online webinars, which provide detailed information about navigating different databases and historical websites.

Although anyone is invited to apply, preference will be given to our West Washington Park neighbors. We are recruiting new history home and garden hosts in our neighborhood.
