Baker Historic Neighborhood Association - 2026 Home Tour

The Baker Historic Neighborhood Association (BHNA) invites you to the Baker Home Tour, a self-guided tour where you can step inside some of Denver's most architecturally significant and lovingly preserved homes, churches, and community spaces. A portion of all proceeds from the Baker Home Tour is donated to DCIS at Fairmont Elementary School, a Denver public school located in the heart of the Baker neighborhood (donate here).

The Baker Home Tour features an eclectic mix of mostly historic residences and community spaces that illustrate the architectural, cultural, and social diversity of Denver’s Baker neighborhood. The tour includes restored Queen Anne Victorians, a rare Second Empire home, a Collegiate Gothic elementary school, an Art Deco fire station, a Hobo Craftsman bungalow, a mid‑century modern showroom, and a historic stone church. Many homes reflect thoughtful renovations that preserve original details such as woodwork, windows, facades, and roofs while adapting interiors for modern living. Several sites highlight Baker’s strong sense of community, including schools, churches, and creative spaces that support arts, education, gardening, and neighborhood outreach. Collectively, the featured homes and sites tell a story of Baker as a livable, walkable, and historically rich urban neighborhood, where preservation, creativity, and community engagement coexist across generations.

Tickets are $20 when purchased in advance online at www.bakerhometour.com, or $25 on the day of the event at DCIS at Fairmont (520 W 3rd Ave). All attendees are asked to check-in at DCIS at Fairmont to receive their tour map and materials before exploring the neighborhood at their own pace.
