West Wash Park Tree Walk

With the help of The Park People (theparkpeople.org) and

other experts, we'll reveal a short list of trees better suited

for Denver's increasingly hot and dry climate and the stress

of urban living in our fragile forest canopy.

Then, we'll ask our West Washington Park neighbors to

nominate, from the list, their own trees as great examples.

Candidates will be chosen to become sites as part of next year's

6th Annual West Wash Park Neighborhood History and Garden Walk,

on Saturday, September 11, 2027, for admiration and inspiration.
